I’m operating into an odd loop making an attempt to oversee an iPhone 16 by way of Apple Configurator and an MDM server, after having beforehand ready it with a unique group.
This is what I did
- Ready my iPhone 16 with Apple Configurator to make it supervised by group A
- Supervision labored as anticipated
- I then created Group B in Apple Configurator
- Tried to arrange my iphone so that’s now supervised by group B as a substitute
When I attempt to put together the iPhone once more for Group B, I persistently hit this loop:

In Apple Configurator, I select to arrange the iPhone for supervision with Group B.

Apple Configurator exhibits an error:
iPhone has already been partially ready
and prompts me to Erase or Proceed. -
If I select proceed I end organising after which the iphone shouldn’t be supervised by something, course of fails

If I erase, then I am mainly manufacturing facility resetting I feel. However everytime I attempt to put together the cellphone once more I get caught on this loop once more and I can not seem to create one other supervisor for my iphone
I’ve already manufacturing facility reset multiples occasions, revived by way of apple configurator, DFU, restore, nothing is working.
What’s improper ? I am so confused. What do I do?
